AVG VPN paid for -still saying free trial, wants me to buy it again?

i've literally just bought the VPN from avg for 1 year, apparently when i installed avg vpn it puts you onto an immediate 30 day trial(fair enough), after this, it starts asking me to buy the product, problem is i already have and its not registering, why is this?
