Hi guys, I did as was suggested above and my network status now shows i am connected through AVG VPN however after changing the AVG VPN options to various AVG VPN providers, I am still seeing these 2 providers and none are AVG:
IP Hostname ISP
162.253.131.18 None Amanah Tech
185.93.2.114 unn-185-93-2-114.datapacket.com. Datacamp Limited
I also did a factory reset of my PC just in case there were any vurses that may have been lurking, and I see the same result. Are these legit providers that AVG is using? I tried switching to France, Germany, Czech Repub, and Netherlands so far on AVGs list of countries and still see the same.
Greetings,
We would like to know whether you are able to turn on AVG Secure VPN successfully?
Are you getting any error while turning on the VPN?
If yes, could you please share the screenshot of error message?
You can post the screenshot by clicking on 'Image' symbol from 'Answer' field.
Thank you.
Thanks guys, I am not seeing any errors and connection to the internet is fine, but i fear i am not being protected by the VPN. When i do a leak test it it shows other providers such as 'datacamp' and one other i do not recognize ( I sense it should show 'Avast' or some other AVG provider ) . Both the wifi and the VPN adapters are showing they have access to the internet through their IPV4 protocols. Also, the network status on my Windows 10 shows my SSID has the internet access instead of the VPN.
hi team, can someone advise why my AVG VPN still shows as subscribed but not 'Active' like my other products? I have already purchased, downloaded and installed the product but I am issues where windows 10 continues to show my internet is going through my IPS and not through the VPN. CAn someone help ?
