This appears to be a commom issue that AVG can't or won't address. I purchased a dual license for Internet Security -- renewal for my desktop running Windows 7 and new license for a Surface tablet with Windows 10.
The product will not load on the tablet. The error message says that another installation already is in progress, probably because the initial installation failed. Control Panel shows that AVG is installed, and it won't uninstall for the same reason -- another installation already is in progrss.
Next I get a warning that security is out of date, but that fails as well.
I filled out the technical support email form, received a case # and a telephone number to call. The tech said that tablet issues can be addressed only online and that he'd email me a link.
Surprise!! It took me to the same technical support email form where I started a week ago and2 hours ago today.
Has anyone gotten any suggestions or even response from AVG on this issue? Thanks.
