I'm habing the same error and now i'm unprotected. Tried the sugestion mentioned above, but unfortunly did not resolve my problem. Please help.

I have had the same problem. My AVG did not work in the first place because why not, and then I repaired it and restarted everything and then ofc another problem has to pop up "Well, this is embarrassing… We've run into a problem and need to restart your antivirus." And then when i click the restart, it only says "loading this sould't take long."
