AVG -White List, Black List, Spam, Not Spam Buttons Missing from Outlook

Akash, I have the same issue. When I try to enable the AVG component  ** in MS Outlook Options>Add-ins ** it crashes MS Outlook (MS Outlook 2016 Pro Plus). Is there a plan to resolve the problem and restore the functionality of the Spam / Not Spam / Blacklist / Whitelist buttons for MS Outlook?

Hello Andy,

I understand the inconvenience.
We have received this complaint from few of our customers.
Please be informed that the latest 17.9 version of AVG does not install a add-in for Outlook.
The email protection component of AVG will completely protect your emails and the add-in which is present now is the older version one.
It is recommended to remove AVG add-in from Outlook which will resolve the error that is appearing.
Feel free to contact us if you need further assistance.

Please help,

AVG recently updated and I find that the AVG buttons that appear in MS Outlook for White List, Black List, Spam, & Not Spam seem to be missing after the upgrade. How do I reinstall them in the ribbon?

Thanks,

Andy

Andy, please check if Anti-spam component is installed on AVG dashboard. If not go to AVG> Menu > Settings > Components > Anti-spam.

Also, please let me know the version of AVG that you are using on your computer.

Yes the Anti Spam component is installed and it is marking (incorrectly) some emails as SPAM in the subject line.

Software Version 17.9.3040

Thank you,

Andy
