I am running windows 10, and when i tried to update AVG it said it was corrupted. I used the remover tool and removed AVG. I still cannot get it to install it gets to 96% then fails with the above error code. the explanation says event exec_finshed??? I have tried everything, I have used AVG for many years and I have never had any issues, so I am assuming it is windows 10 causing the problem? How can I get AVG to install?
