AVG will not start up

I noticed that AVG will not start up anymore. Nor does it start on startup while it is on the startup list. Also I can't start a scan manually by clicking on the icon. I installed Avast! free antivirus just to have some protection but I am an AVG paying customer so I really would like my AVG to work again.

Any suggestion would be apriciated
