I have the same problem since June!!! can do an update manually but thats all!!!

My AVG 2015 is not updating on windows xp, google chrome.  I have tried the update failed instructions.  I have deleted AVG and reloaded my floppy, and it will still not update.  I contacted AVG and they told me to do exactly what I had already done.  I bought the software, with the floppy and AVG seems like it is not an issue.  What to do?
