Twice I have allowed AVG to apply security settings; both times it has gone on for hours and hours and it doesn't finish. Every day I request AVG to "never" remind me again, but it does, every day, at least once.
I have also done several suggestion from AVG FAQs regarding Internet Settings in the Control Panel. My settings are as recommended.
