I am sorry to hear that. Please be informed that in AVG free Antivirus "Firewall" feature is not available. I would suggest you to repair AVG program http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-repair-AVG and check the status.

Ever since the update around a month ago, AVG (free) won't let me use my WinMX p2p program. I'm assuming its some sort of AVG firewall issue, but I can't find the firewall settings when I go to "menu" or "settings." Where is it?
The only time WinMX works is when I boot up in the morning and see this on my desktop:
As you can see, it's just blank. The problem is that this dialog box only appears every five days or so, so I get to use WinMX like once a week. Not good. I had no problem using WinMX with AVG before the update.
