User of AVG for years; however latest update a few days ago. blocked me from using Google Chrome, and then blocked my internet from even connecting.
After several re-logins, was able to get Internet to connect, but then keep getting the Blus Screen of Death.
Though Uninstalling and re-installing might help, but I'm lost; AVG NOW WILL NOT OPEN !!!, although I can see that several AVG processes are running when I look at Task Manager.
Can't open AVG to adjust possible Firewall settings issues, can't uninstall to try and re-install (download the so-called AVGClear removal tool, all it does is show the green dot going back and forth for hours on end ALL-DAY like it's working but does absolutely nothing)…Help…this is not what I paid for, nor what I expected from a program I've used since the early days of the internet.

Hello Mr. Mcclain,
It appears there is a bug in the program dealing with AVG taking over as the administrator to your computer. (example: go to>control panel; view all programs>: select avg.tune up ; select uninstall.; then you can not remove anything from AVG… plus try to talk to anyone over there and it's impossible!
I too a wondering about this company!
