Firstly I noticed the AVG icon disappeared from the task bar.
I tried to open the program from the desktop icon…it won't open.
So tried to open it from the programs menu…it won't open.
Went to control panel to try to uninstall and then was going to re-install. It doesn't do anything when I try click on the remove button. Tried the change button also…no response.
Tried downloading the program as well. It downloads but when I try to run it nothing happens.
I don't have any problems with removing other programs as I have done so.
The only other symptom is that the PC seems slower than normal and Microsoft Outlook is extremely slow and doesn't respond at times.
Windows Security Center says I am still protected by AVG.
