Avg won't work on my mac

Hello Thomas,
Please make sure whether you have not ran the installation file again. Also check whether you could find the AVG on the list of installed programs on your PC.

I have a macbook pro and I installed this software and all i have is the icon on my desktop. when i click on it it always wants me to download and install it. Thats it. It won't do anything else. I have put everything related to antivirus and tune up my mac in the trash bot the icons remain.
