My computer runs on Windows Vista Home Premium with Service Pack 2 and during the last automatic update it seems AVG was updated. That's the good news.
The bad news is that the AVG update notifer (grey background, white check mark in the green circle followed by the white print indicating "You've been updated t…")screen is hanging OFF the bottom right corner of my display. HANGING OFF, as in - I can't grab it and drag it onto the display so I can read the whole thing (hense: "…updated t…" cause I don't know what it says), and more importantly - I can't close the damn thing.
I've restarted my gear a number of times but still this AVG window won't come fully into view nor will it disappear, so I've effectivly lost access to 1/4 of my desktop and all the programs, docs, apps and tools which live there.
So please, how do I get rid of this notifier?
Thanks,
~Ed.

Yes. and I got another one again. I use windows rarely and it takes me a lot of time to log off and log in as I have to sinchronize my work each time I open programs I work with. Is there another way to turn it off that uninstalling AVG? I turned off System Tray notifications in settings but it doesn't help.
Thank you, Avinash. It worked!
