Perhaps I am confused? Is there a Free Anti-virus for WIN 10 from AVG?
Now I understand that it is very basic and without support AND you get what you pay for…blah blah.
Anti-virus is just one aspect isn't it. There is Malware and Worms, and Trojan Horses and all kinds of intrusive bits and pieces that get placed on the computer. Some are just a nuiscance but some are, and intend to be, throroughly evil. Snooping and trying to get into your blood-stream. 
Can you clarify all this for me and then explain what adavantages ZEN brings to the party and how much it is please?
Oh yes - and is this Forum an "Official" AVG site - and are there any others thus to confuse? I'm sure I won't be the only one to be a bit confused over these issues.

I have had AVG Free on WIN XP for many years and it seems very satisfactory. You can Rt clk the little icon in the TaskBar and you get confirmation that says "You are protected"
Installing ZEN to WIN 10 seems a lot differenet. I can't really tell if its working. Is there a way to know?
No Icons anywhere, on Taskbar, and when you ​​open Control Panel to see installed programs it's there with the offer to uninstall AVG. BUT IS IT RUNNING?
