Could you please let us know whether you have installed the Free version of the AVG program? If so please be informed that from the latest update the AVG Free without the Zen Interface is unavailable.
The Zen provides you a multi device access through which you can manage scans of your other devices through the administrator PC. It is recommended to have the AVG Free program with the Zen Interface.

I have the free version, have had it for years. All I want to do is get that Zen **** , which is sticking out like a sore thumb, off my tray! If it wants to remain hidden, OK.
I like AVG and have been using it for many years, but Zen is of no use to me. Suddenly , without my input, its icon appears in my tray (with a ! superimposed), and I cannot make it go away. Can you give me a flyswatter?

Larry, The AVG Free Edition installation file now includes AVG Zen & for feedback this link is also available ( link removed ). AVG Guru
