Avg2015 installed, now other programs will not load

aftern I reacitvated my avg virus protection 2015, and performed the requested roboot. now most of my programs will not open, including PC Tune-up. Microsoft word, FireFox browser. just to name a few. also Team Viewer program will not even load.
I have rebooted my pc twice and an cold shut down as well. still not working.
