Hello Samuel,
There is no way I am going to let anyone from AVG have access to my computer. After reading reviews about AVG customer service I would not trust any of your so-called "experts".
I have done everything that your so-called "SUPPORT" team suggested and then they said that they could not stop these popups unless I uninstalled AVG or renewed my subscription. I explained that I don't need a subscription for 10 devices as I only used it on 1 device. Then they didn't bother to reply.
So I will continue to pester what you must jokingly call your "support team" every time the pop-ups pester me. Only 9 days to go and then I get rid of the annoying crap.
Another pop-up as I was typing this email - the 5th today. You are doing this deliberately
A month before subscription renewal I started getting pop-ups 4 or 5 times per day to remind me that my subscription was about to expire. These pop-ups crashed me out of anything I was working on, so I asked their so-called “support team” for help.
Their response was that there was nothing they could do about their “reminders” and the only way to stop them was to renew the subscription or uninstall AVG. Either way I would lose a month of usage that I had paid for. I cancelled their auto-renewal and set the program to “silent mode” to try to stop these “reminders” but this had no effect.
I was being charged for 10 devices when I only use it on 1 device so asked if I could change to 1 device protection but I was quoted a price that was higher than I had been offered for 10 devices.
Then they simply stopped responding so now, every time I get a pop-up reminder, I pester their “support team” by sending them a screen shot. “Support?” What a joke!
I am going to continue to pester them until my subscription expires and then get rid of their annoying crap and use Bitdefender or Malwarebytes.
Avoid AVG.
