The bank mode is currently available in Avast Secure browser only.
Stealth Mode in AVG browser is a privacy feature that prevents your browsing history from being stored, and deletes any tracking cookies or web caches you acquire during your Stealth Mode browsing session.
Bank Mode in Avast browser provides a virtual desktop that acts as a safe and clean PC within your real PC. For more info regarding it, you need to reach Avast support.

Just downloaded free version of AVG Secure Browser. I do not see Bank Mode as an option, anywhere. I DO see Stealth Mode. I am confused because in general online searches, I see Bank Mode as something that AVG Secure Browser offers, and I also see that Avast (for example) offers BOTH Bank Mode and Stealth Mode (so Bank and Stealth are not the same thing apparently).
Help? I seek clarification of Bank vs. Stealth modes, AND instructions on how to access Bank Mode in AVG Secure Browser.

You can use stealth mode in AVG Secure browser for online banking.
As informed earlier, we'd suggest you to reach Avast support for further clarification regarding Bank mode.
Since, our expertise are limited to AVG, we're not in a position to clarify about a feature in Avast.

For the next week we won't have access to Avast while our main computer is at the Doctor and our remaining computer is what we use for streaming and Avast doesn't play nice with the various players so we have AVG on that computer — INHALE) so:
If we use stealth mode to access our online banking, are we 'just' as safe as in Bank Mode, do you think? I'm interested in exactly what Bank Mode does, in this regard, that Safe Mode doesn't.
