Actually she was probably not referring to battery saver. Every time I search for her same solution I'm seeing the same misconception. What's going on is there's a feature on avg cleaner that monitors your battery for 24+ hours to help you stop or reduce the apps that are draining the battery. It's not called battery saver. I believe it's battery monitoring. At least that's what it says in the notification bar: "Battery monitoring is running". We are trying to find out how to stop the battery monitoring from running in the background. Turning it on was easy but turning it off is another story. Please help. Thank you.
Hi Dorota,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
From your description, it seems that you're concerned about the Batter saver feature in AVG Cleaner. If so, you can manage it by following the below steps :
Open AVG Cleaner and go to ☰ Menu (three lines) ▸ Battery Saver - click on toggle bar beside the desired profile.
However, we'd like to clarify that this feature doesn't cause the warming issue, as it's functionality is to optimize battery usage.
For further queries, feel free to write back to us.

How to disable this function? Can't find a way. Since it has started my phone is warming up like a hell.
