This is now getting worse.
Ransonware protection and behaviour shield are turning off on boot up.
The links in the above article to uninstall / install don't work, neither do the links in the email you sent to me.
What is going on with your service.
Behaviour shield is once again turned off on every PC boot up.
Now what is is the solution?
Hi Bryan,
I am sorry to know that. This is not the experience we want you to have.
I will do my best to fix you problem.
Let me guide you step by step.
1. Please press your windows key and type "appwiz.cpl" then hit "Enter".
It will take you to control panel.
2. Here you can see the list of installed software in your PC.
3. Now check whether any other conflicting antivirus installed on your PC.
If you have two antivirus in the same PC, it will conflict each so please uninstall if any other antivirus is listed in your PC.
4. Find the AVG Internet Security and click "Uninstall". Also please refer this below article to uninstall the AVG Internet Security.

7. If you are facing any technical difficulties, I have sent you to a email, please follow the email instructions.
Thank you.
I have tried to uninstall from control panel, but the only options are change or uninstall, not repair.
This is the second time I have had to uninstall AVG in recent months because of this sort of issue.
If this keeps happening, I will look elsewhere for PC protection.
Done that. Puzzled as to why it didn't update automatically, as I have auto updates enabled.
Every time I turn on my PC, the behaviour shield is turned off, and I have to manually turn it on.
Why is this happening, and what is the solution to prevent this from happening?
We're sorry to know that, Bryn.
Please let us know the version of AVG installed on your computer (Open AVG - Menu - About).

Hello Bryn,
We are sorry to know this.
This could be possible if the auto updates services might not run or stopped at the background.
We can fix this issue by either repairing the AVG Program or restarting the PC. Please refer this article to repair your AVG program: https://bit.ly/2RsBcWp
