I installed BIG Sur on my iMac at the weekend. Since then AVG blocks my email and internet access. I have to turn off AVG Secure VPN (version 1.9.2 (375) in order to work. How do I install the latest version of AVG t continue working?

I have the same problem. Macbook with Big Sur 11.2 Blocks my email, not Gmail but another account.
Disconnect form VPN it works.
Roger, if you are experiencing the issue on an email client, please refer this article and follow the steps mentioned for the email clients.
Once it is done, turn on AVG Secure VPN and check the status with your emails.
Keep us apprised.
The error message is that I am not connected to the internet, but my system tells me that both the ethernet and wifi are working. When I switch off AVG I can access the internet and my email comes back online.
I do not have AVG Antivirus on my computer. I use Norton.
Everything worked fine until I installed BIG Sur.
I have done everything from the article (Troubleshooting for sending emails when connected via AVG Secure VPN) except I don't have the IP address for my Server.
The problem persists ![]()
