Hi,
We are here to help.
Are you able to synchronize the IMAP folders when the AVG is turned off?
Please turn off the email shield and check for the issue again.
Keep us posted.
Hello,
thank you for the info and help.
Now it seems it works. But there are IMAP folders which are still not synchronized…no idea.
Kind regards
István

Istvan, follow the steps below to make sure AVG is removed completely.

2. In menubar select Go > Go to Folder…
3. Type /Library/Application Support/ and his the enter key
4. Locate and delete AVGAntivirus folder

Alright, Istvan. Please clarify whether IMAP folders are synchronized after uninstalling AVG on your MAC.

Hello,
I think there is a misunderstanding. I have already uninstalled AVG with hopefully all the hidden parts some days ago. Nothing has changed, I mean the apple mail do not synchronize with icloud and with my other supplier. There was an advice on Mac community to set off the firewall, I did it, but nothing happened. So I stil don't know what to do, but there is no AVG on my macbook 12".
Any idea?
Thank you
Istvan
Hello,
yes, seems like this is not on AVG. But please let me know what I have to check if accidentaly there are some hidden files left from AVG.
Thank you in advance
István
Istvan, we'd request you to contact Apple support since the issue persists even after removing AVG completely.
