Billing question

I logged a call yesterday about not being able to get rid of a message telling me to renew my licence despite having renewed. I received a reply from Bhuvaneswari but before I could act on his advice U received an email from AVG along with a bill saying my licence had been renewed. I have now been charged twice for a licence that I only wanted to purchase once. What needs doing to fix this issue up? Also if AVG is charging my credit card automatically how can I stop this in the future?

Thanks

Richard

Hi Bhuvaneswari

Its good news, bad news.

The AVG issue appears to have been fixed automatically. However I have been billed for a second time in two days for AVG.

On Jan 29 I purchased AVG Internet Security as I was receiving notifications saying it would run out in February. I can see on my credit card statement an entry from Digital River for $117.69 AUD

Last night I received an email about my subscription being renewed. Just checked my credit card and there is a second bill for DRI AG Technologies for $117.69AUD

How can I get one of these payments reversed as I only need the one subscription?

Does AVG just charge my credit card automatically and if so how can I prevent this in the future.

Richard

Hello Richard,

I understand the inconvenience.
I request you not to post multiple times for the same issue.
I have explained in your previous post https://support.avg.com/answers?id=9060N000000U2oM that there was a technical issue with the license which has to be fixed by our senior team and asked the screenshot of your AVG my account showing as "no subscriptions" to assist further.
I asked you to share the screenshot through the email that I sent two days ago.
I will now forward the case to senior team to fix the license issue and get refund for the recent renewal.
Keep checking your email to know about the status.
When you receive the email from concern team, you can share the screenshot of AVG my account to fix the issue showing as no subscriptions.
