Black screen in Chrome

This is obviously a common problem.  Happened to me too.  The answer you gave is not helpful … because if I have to undo what AVG does so I can use the brwser, what's the point of having AVG TuneUp?  re you going to update the software so it doesn't do this to Chrome?  When?

I did a tune up yesterday and I may have inadvertently files for Chrome. Now all I get is a black screen. I was wondering how to turn off AVG for a moment to see if that solves the problem or if there is more I need to do.

Please be informed that it is not recommended to put important Programs to Sleep.
Also, please add the Google Chrome to the Ignore List to avoid further conflicts while optimizing your computer.
