Blackmail by AVG employee

MY patience, I have been violated, and it was costly in $$$ and Time.  I needed to be contacted by a corporate person not a AVG Tech.  There is no more trust in AVG to protect me from one of it's own.

I have recently been given for free, a service (not covered by my Ultimate, unlimited devices, internet Security,PC Tuneup & more package I already had installed on my computer) to clean up my computer, which, i was told by a Agent that i had an infection (supposedly Malware) that had to be removed by AVG GO Total Care Bundle + Internet Security + NanohealA costing $199.99, annually, My problem is that halfway thru the conversation he asked for remote control of my computer, being it was a Legitimate agent representing AVG, I gave it to him. Later on I  was told by the Agent that he was cleaning it up for me as a gift at no charge.  He then asked if he could call me back, said he had to consult with a colleague first, from his own cellphone, called me to say that if I needed him to fix any problem in my computer/ other device i had, just call him; I got suspicious, but, I said I would ; the next time I booted up the computer, "Nothing" " Dead as a door nail " It cost me $$$.$$ to get it undone, an not by the Agent.Has anyone else experienced this, ???
