Hello Allan,

I understand your concern. Please open the AVG Internet Security installed in your computer and click on Menu->Ransomware Protection. From here you can see the application listed in the blocked list. Please remove the same from the blocked list and add the application to "Allow" list and check if that fix the issue. If you face any difficulties, feel free to contact us.

Hello,

i scaned a document yesterday on epson scanner.

it scanned okay but when saving Mage it says unable to write to file.

AVg message came up saying something was trying to do something to a jpg file and should it block it.

i said yes and still doesn't work.

how can I unblock it as can't find advanced options or virus vault.

Please perform repair of AVG Antivirus as mentioned in this article: http://avgread.me/1BVxDSY and check whether you are able to access the options from Menu.
Keep us informed about the status.

This was fixed by disabling AVG ANTI VIRUS DEINSTALLING IT AND THEN reinstalling it.
