Blocked thunderbird

I'm sorry to hear about this. I request you to change AVG Firewall network profile to private (open AVG Internet Security > menu > settings > components > firewall > customize > network profile > change all the network public to private), please go to Firewall customize settings again > scroll down > click on system rules > enable all the system rules if it's not configured, please click OK and check if you can send/receive email through LAN with enabled AVG Internet Security. If the issue still persist, please disable (Right-click the AVG icon in the system tray next to the clock > Click Temporarily disable AVG protection > Choose how long you want the protection to be disabled and whether to disable the Firewall as well, and then click OK) AVG Internet Security once and check if it's working.

For unclear reason thunderbird and also outlook cannot connect to the server of my e-mail account juergen@schreiber.de when I connected by my home WLAN. Last year it was working, but now I don't get e-mails, however, I can send e-mails. The problem exists not for all WLAN, e.g. when I am going aboard thunderbird works!?!
