I regret for the inconvenience caused. You can revert the changes made by AVG PC TuneUp using the steps mentioned in this article ( http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-revert-changes-done-by-PC-TuneUp ) and check if your Microsoft Word works fine.

Just accepted the FREE PC Tune-Up package on trial from AVG in the belief it would speed things up.
Tried to access Microsoft Word Starter (Windows 10) and it would not allow access to my files. Has really messed things up!
How do I regain access NOW and not have to wait for the trial period to expire. (I sure hope everything does return to 'Normal' after that if this fails??)
