Hello James,

I understand the inconvenience.
I have checked the case record and found the troubleshooting that was followed by our remote technician.
In this case, it is necessary for us to collect and analyze the log files of AVG.
An email instruction has been sent to collect and send us the log files.
If the email is not found in inbox do check in spam and junk folders.

I have already recognized your issue which is related to the stream.sys file (https://unfitpc.com/stream-sys) , If you really want to overcome such a error then it is mandatory that you have to completely scan your system

Hi, I've had the Live Chat nowand Thought I was ok, but avgstm.sys has caused yet another freexe of my system and I had to power off. The Live Chat person just cleared the files in the temp directories. Seems it isn't as easy as that.  :frowning:

Hello Avinash, I am having the same problem since August. I have uninstalled my AVG Internet Security, used the AVG removal tool ver 1.0.1.5, and then re-installed, but I am still having my system freeze and then a new minidump generates showing that avgstm.sys caused the issue.
