Boot Time Scanner

I am wondering if AVG has a scanner that scans the Boot Process for infection like the one that Avast has? The reason I ask is because it is useful in finding unwanted processes in the Boot Time Process allowing youi to see PUPs and other things in your boot process that may either be slowing down the boot process or preping the computer to accept or not reconize unwanted infection in the programming itself. Does AVG have a Boot Time Scanner like this? If so how do I access it? If not, are they developing one and when do they expect to release it?

Hello Jerald. I would like to let you know that you can perform boot time scan using AVG  Rescue Cd which checks for infections before the operating system boots. Please click this link http://bit.ly/1d3yb3Y to have a clear idea about the AVG Rescue cd. However, there is no inbuilt feature within the software to perform boot time scan as of now. Since, it is an advanced feature, it might be hard for some of the users to understand what the boot time scan actually does and so AVG has enabled the feature in a separate AVG Rescue cd. Please feel free to reach us back for any further issues. Thank you. Kishore, AVG Customer Care.
