I already had a subscription for 2 years. I bought another 2 years because I got a good deal. I applied the code, and it shows now 4 years and expires 2021. However when I load the app / program on my PC it shows 2019.
How do I get the app to see that I am good until 2021???

You can logout and log back in on other PCs and it should work. If the issue persist, please get in touch with our technical chat team ( http://avgclick.me/AVGtechnical ) from the problem PC and they will be glad to assist you remotely.

I got it all working, it's all green. Just missing my point.
Someone shouldn't have to go through a huge list of steps just to enter a new key to extend their renew. Anyone should just be able just enter their newly key and walla, the website and the app should see it.
Yea I did that, and still shows 2019. Does the time have to run out before it renews to the extra 2 years?

Yes, I see the expiry date. I would request you to log out of the subscription page and click remove the license. Wait till the program downgrades to AVG Free Antivirus. Then restart your computer and activate the program with the Myaccount credentials. If the issue persists, we need to reinstall the latest version using AVG remover and AVG clear tool. (| AVG)
I understand how frustrating this activation was. This activation will always be automatically updated in your computer. This seems to have caused due to some synchronization error which occurs very rarely. You will not be having this difficulties in future.
Yes I did this yesterday. I logged out, waited for it to downgrade to free, logged back in with my user information. Then I had a pink button on the hacker shield. It said to click fix, I did, it wouldn't fix it.
Next I tried to reboot and shut down, that didn't fix it.
I had to reinstall AVG Ultimate on top reboot and that worked.
Problem is this. I have AVG running on 4 systems, soon 5, If I have to do this to each and everyone, there has to be an easier way of doing this.
I shouldn't have to downgrade to free in and re-enter my information, reinstall, that's nuts.
You guys need to make it possible to just add the lic key to both AVG site and AVG software.
This is not a solution and not the way to do this. If others have the same problem, (we) need a better way to do this besides going through a series of steps just to renew or add more years to our subscrption.
I am happy to hear that your issue is resolved. We appreciate your time and co-operation. Regarding this activation, it seems that there was some over lapping of subscription and which fixed internally. That is why it took a little longer to synchronize in your end. Please do not worry, you will not have this problem again.
Okay this is not cool. I had to go into the other area and log out, when I did that it completely signed me out and removed everything and had to wait there until it allowed me to sign in again.
By doing this it took me to the free versions which isn't cool because now it created a issues with the hacker attack remains pink and I can't fix it, and I had to spend most of the night to try and fix it.
You guys really need to make it simpler just to add a serial number rather then to completely set me to free edition and then go through a series of troubleshooting steps and redo everything just to get the app updated.
So stupid… Not happy about this at all.
This is uncalled for and there is no excuse for it.

Usually the process happens Automatically on all your devices, in case the date is not updated on your other devices, please follow the Procedure on those devices.
