From your description, we see that AVG Secure browser is set to launch at startup on your computer.
To check this, please type msconfig in runline command (Press windows logo key & R key together to get runline command) - Select startup tab & then check if AVG Secure Browser is enabled at startup - If enabled, right click on it & select Disable - Restart your computer once to check if it helps.

When I reboot my computer, AVG imposes its own browser and tries to trick me into making that my default  browser. No! I do not want it. I resent it. I believe it jams up my computer. I am beginning to lose confidence in AVG. I can't find any way to contact AVG customer support. Can someone here tell them that I am furious about this, and warn them that if  it doesn't stop IMMEDIATELY i will find another antivirus provider?
