Hi Bjorleif,
We will help you to get this issue resolved.
If you choose "Allow me to decide" then it should send you a notification before a file is submitted to AVG Threat Labs.
We request you to uninstall the AVG Internet Security program from the control panel and then reinstall the program again.
Once you reinstall it, try to open the same file again and check if it prompts you to do the action.
If the issue still persists please let us know to help you further.
I had AVG with Cybercapture enabled with "always block it".
AVG swallowed a file I KNOW to be good, so I changed to "allow me to decide". If I assume correctly, this means that I get the option to allow a suspicious file.
But AVG still swallows my file, without giving me the option of allowing it.
I assume this is a bug in the user interface?
Has anyone else seen this anomaly?
