When? It's been 10 days an not a word from Senior Level 2
REPORTED 12:32 PM on 1/8/2019.
I was contacted by your remote team and my case is STILL under investigation by a level 2 technician and it's now 1/19/2019?
WAKE UP PLEASE!!
I have been patiently waiting for a reply from your senior team.
Those 6, defunct and obsolete networks (I have to manually change each from Private to Public everyday) they are using 33% of my CPU power ...probably talking to Cortana which is not able to respond obviously!! I know I would be wasting mine and your time explaining how I know they SHOULD NOT BE THERE and that the 6 WERE NOT PRESENT BEFORE AVG UPDATES APPROX. 1/04/2019.
Just don't leave me hanging, doing something is better than doing nothing, remember?
I have also UPGRADED Win 10 OS to the latest 1809 build ...just to try and prevent those networks from changing back to Priviate and to prevent WU errors along with other damaged being sustained including your own Software which is blocking necessarily those networks out bound TCP and UPD trafic using up MY DATA!! ..and, presenting notifications of some AVG components not working, as well Win 10 OS before I upgraded was notifying that "attention required" for AVG Products...that Windows Firewall was turned off (I couldn't turn it back on) and that AVG Firewall was also OFF. ...again, shoud I have to being constantly watching your software?
AGAIN
What is being been done about this?
Since the most recent update I am seeing Network Profiles which I should be seeing...what did you gys do?
I would send you screen dump ...BUT there was no upload feature built into this editor.

Have did delte these when I first noticed them in Network profiles...I then did a cleanup and also cleaned the registry and then did restart ...I openedNewt Profiles and they are all back... so delte and reboot is useless. Need help ..pleae.

IT SEMS NO ONE IS LISTENING!! ....it's been 11 DAYS AND YOU PROMISED TO GET BACK TO ME WITH LEVEL 2 SUPPORT WITHIN 3-5 DAYS.
AGAIN, why is it that if I change all those networks marked as shown with a red '?' to Public then reboot my computer they come back as Private (trusted)?
I can assure the Level 2 Team that these Network Profiles are not my neigbors or any other devices I have connected to my network.
How many times do I have to explain this?
FFS!! HELP ME OUT HERE!!!
You are welcome, Marcus.
We appreciate your time and co-operation.
I see that you are already in contact with our senior team.
Please continue with them via email and they will make sure to provide you the best solution.
Hello Marcus,
We will check this for you.

We will check the same and assist you further.
I have double checked "Network Setings" and I only use one…so only 1 x network. So why am I seeing at least one network which has been dead since the last router got dried and the other's I have no idea about BUT they are Private and I could be able to login …of course I won't…but can and will they login to my machine? You tell me …
Ok ...so after 36 hours without sleep and working as best I know how with your Techis I found the solultion....but first what caused those Profile Names to appear, one of your techis told me that those were "just available networks" other networks like your neigbor's Routers. Well I know that to be false and I can prove it too!! One of the things I know is true, is that the latest update DID change the rules for identifying Network Profiles by name ...now can you tell me where AVG Program finds those names?
I'm impatient...I must admit...so please I am impatient to share this with you but I wnat a job working with AVG to reslove issues because I reckon I can do better than 90% of your technicians and get resuts faster. But if there are no vacancies then I guess we could come to some arrangement since there will be many customers wondering why they seem connected to Network Profiles which they do not have and without even a prompt that a Network Prfile change is not happening when it would appear it should.
You savvy?
Alawys the problem solver.

Ok...I wil share this with you...as I said, "I'm impatient...I must admit" LMAO ..I know you guys wouldn't give me a job but hell why not ask anyway? :D
So how to find the solution is found in the Regisrty when a new ISP Router is configuared/installed I found all those entries were left over yet even a paid for Cleaner subscription doesn't detect them as being 'invalid' so why should AVG suddenly show these old entries in Network Profiles...I think it's pretty simply now I have completed investigated, it's your software update yesterday which sees those entries and simply adds them into the list of valid Network Profiles without checking if they are false flags...not actually AVG's fault but more like the ISP's responsibility when software is being replaced by the same ISP fault YET I would have thought AVG had addressed those issues before releasing the update yesterday.
Anyway, here's is how I know... I have matched the Key to the Profile Name as: = Network Profile: "NAME" to make it easier to follow.
Registry Editor
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles\{31A95DE1-1FC2-4C1B-9F64-4AEE9E6D76EF} = Network Profile: "DIRECT-PFOWNER-PCTrGE 2"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles\{0357FD80-FC76-4AE3-A8C3-6A3B09C66A1B} = Network Proflie: "TelstraAA3C4D"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles\{3811A582-501C-49E2-A9DC-53862F887871} = Network Profile: "Telstra19CD96 2"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles\{43538C05-08C2-4AAC-8A4F-D1C96E9C17C4} = Network Profile: "Telstra19CD96"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles\{53ADC945-BD51-4B71-8DDD-02C365223744} = Network Profile: "DIRECT-9YOWNER-PCEWPK"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles\{8472D074-2C37-4AD4-8DF4-BB77DB5125A7} = **CORRECT** NETWORK PROFILE
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles\{A0D3BC11-E813-4D87-BF71-D40148888819} = Network Profile: "AndroidAP"
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles\{B12DDF6D-059D-4F8D-9598-371AC86860A1} = Network Profile: "DIRECT-PFOWNER-PCTrGE"
Of course, obviously the entry I DARE NOT DELETE is:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\NetworkList\Profiles\{8472D074-2C37-4AD4-8DF4-BB77DB5125A7} = **CORRECT** NETWORK PROFILE
Next question is ...do I delete them all except the Key for the *correct* Profile Name?

Still a good customer..right?
Kind regards,
Marc. Cooper R3M
