C000021a Fatal System Error

Hello Tom,

I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you. I have sent you an email with the instructions to regarding the issue, please follow the instructions.

Thank you.

I have three PC's running XP and all three crashed during the daily AVG virus scan with the C000021a blue screen error.  To confirm the problem, I started the virus scan again on one of the systems and it crashed the PC with the same error.  This just started this morning on all three systems and all ran fine yesterday during the virus scan.

Hello Art. That's great to hear your issues has been resolved now. Please feel free to contact us back for further assistance. Thank you.

Yes I think the update was a partial fix. AVG ran but very weard. So I clicked repair for AVG In add/remove programs… Then Magically the internet started working again in Internet Explorer. Google was still messed up… I ran AVG in Safe Mode and the virus Agent5 is gone… Now all is working. The Virus scrambled alot of files… I installed a AVG Rescue jump drive but it wouldn't Boot. I just left it in the slot, Maybe it did some good. All is well! Good luck! I wish they could have sent us an email or something about their progress of the fix…

When AVG did its update thing today, that cleared up the issue.  I had run every program to see if my computers had a virus, worm, trojan, etc., and nothing was found.  Finally, I just gave up and called it a day yesterday.
This morning I tried again.  Praise God (and AVG) what ever needed fixing must have gotten fixed!  All is well . . . so far.
I sure hope your AVG and your computer are living in harmony too.
