Can no longer connect MS Edge

I keep getting a message when trying to access any website using MS Edge or IE. This just started today. This is the message I receive… "

This happens for sites that I have used for years such as Microsoft's home page or my employer's home page, which I need to access my payroll data. Chrome and Firefox work fine. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Let's disable AVG Internet Security on your PC and please check if you are able to access the websites.

Click on the link (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Disable-AVG-Antivirus) to refer how to disable AVG.

Yes, it is evident from the screenshot that your computer is protected by AVG Internet Security.

Thank you for your prompt response. The initial inquiry contains a copy & paste of the screen, do you still need a screenshot?

I have repaired and reset the browser several times and it has not helped.  I welcome your suggestions,  thank you.

Could you check whether your AVG Internet Security program says as "you are fully protected"?
