Can only run smart scan. wont accept password to do anything else

Are you able to login to AVG MyAccount website?

I can not do anything that requires administration password - says password is wrong. I am signed in to my free account. I try to delete and reinstall but need admin pword that it rejects. I have changed my pword and it still won't function as it has for years. I can not even update it. Call for help will not do anything because I am not a paid plan. It works on my laptop without being even signed in. What do I need to do?
Your link doesnt open.  I went to safe mode after downloading avgclear and it is stuck. Why do you give a free program for years and when it quits working right, you make me tear my hair out and beg for help removing it. It works on my laptop.
