I have cancelled my avg account, which does not expire until March 9, had an acknowledgement to the effect that it has been cancelled but the £49.99 has been taken from my account 22 Feb. Assume I will be refunded?

When you purchase an AVG subscription (formally known as "Continuing Protection Service"), the subscription will continue until you have cancelled it. You will receive an email regarding the automatic extension of AVG subscription before 45 days and will be billed 15 days before the product expires.
