My laptop cannot connect wirelessly to my Samsung TV. I had support a while ago but haven't revisited a solution since. If I turn my firewall off I can connect wirelessly but when I turn it back on it disconnects. I think it could be to do with the IGMP rule which blocks traffic on the public network. Looking at my home network, it is set to "Trusted" but when I look at the network inspector it shows as "Public" which is what the IGMP rule blocks. I have the latest version of AVG. The IGMP rule is locked and cannot be amended. Any ideas? If I can change my network to private that may solve it but I can't even do that.

I have the exact same issue. Windows 11 with AVG Business. I tried all the steps above and still the same issue.
The only difference is I'm not connected to any network. Just directly connecting to the MicrsoftDisplayAdapter. When my firewall is off, I can connect. As soon as I activate my firewall AVG blocks the signal

That hasn't resolved it, full repair and restart. How can I make my nework private instead of public? The network is set to "trusted" but shows as "public" innetwork inspector.

Sorry, but that was one of the earlier suggestions that I have already done.Reinstalling doesn't resolve the issue.
No, no error message at all. First time I try to connect I get a message on the TV asking whether to allow device connection then after that just a "connecting" message on the TV screen which goes off after maybe 20 seconds. If I switch off the firewall then it connects no problem.
Thank you for writing us back, Len.
