I understand your concern. Please open AVG Internet Security installed in your computer and click on "Hacker Protection" tab, you can see "Ransomware Protection". Select the same and click on "Allow/Block apps, if you see the MS product files listed under blocked list, please remove the same and add the applications to allow list. After which you can check if you are able to open and edit files of MS Office.

Cannot save any MS products to my Documents.MS products I open are read only. AVG is about to be history for me.
I just need to remove this program ot stop this nonsense I don’t have time for. I have lost all morning and now I’m losing this afternoon, what has AVG done?
