We haven't removed those scan options. Please run AVG Clear tool

Reinstall your AVG Internet Security as suggested here: http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-Protection and activate it using your email address and password. Restart your device and check if you have that gear icon and scan features.

Can you at least advise if you have removed the custom scan feature. I need to find someone who does.
It is worse since repair as before it would at least perform basic scan from small tab.
Screenshot not possible and the screen is just black and cannot leave it.
