You need to clear the Google Play cache and uninstall the Google Play Store update.
Go to Settings> Application manager, find Google Play, and tap on it.
Click on "Clear cache". Then tap Uninstall updates. When you're done, restart your device.

I'm having trouble accessing my settings at the moment. Everytime I try, it prompts me to input my password but it just keeps telling me that it's the wrong password. I've tried changing it twice and still nothing has changed. I can sign in and out of my account just fine but it still wont recognise my password as correct when I use the exact same one to sign in.
I'd love a hand with this ASAP

I've looked into it farther, and I think what is wrong is that I've forgotten my AVG Internet Security Interface password. I've followed the link that explains what to do, but it's currently down for maintenance. Please get back to me soon, the app won't even let me purchase a new subscription.
