Cant install ytd downloader

I have the same problem as well. AVG Internet Security inexplicably deleted YouTube downloader from my computer and it's not letting me reinstall it again and when I am successfull in reinstalling the program, AVG Internet Security will delete the ytd.exe file again. I had the same problem a few weeks ago but the problem cleared itself up until today. I read over and tried the various suggestions about adding either the file name or url to the exceptions list but they do not work. The only way that I can reinstall YouTube downloader and/or get it to work is to disable internet security altogether which is not a viable option. Is there is no solution to this, I may have to uninstall it and go with another product.

Hi there Gulam.
I am sorry to say it this way but the answers I have read here so far are not really helpful, while for a single user this might work if he/she knows what you are talking about. I however have over three thousand users in my company, and I can realy not go around to each of those that have the YTD and go correct this. Please talk with your Devs and DB teams to have this patched.
Thanks.

What is going on with the ytd dowloder, you guys have got the site blocked, when I try to install ytd dowlader avg keeps deleting the file even after I added it to the exceptions and clicked allowed, Its like avg is telling me sorry you do not get no choice in this situration, if this problem is not solved soon, I will have the find me another virus program as ytd downloader is my main programs and I can not do without it, as well as several other million people who use it…

Looks as if someone is putting ytd on your block list when you update it (on the first of the month? note that it happened at the beginning of September, then again at the beginning of November)—you should be able to fix that.

Hello Methen, I apologize for the inconvenience caused. I request you to refer the following link http://avgread.me/18WB2dg to add the you tube downloader in AVG exception list. Please revert us if the issue persists. Thank you.

Hello Methen.
I know how annoying when things happen this way. I would do the best I could to fix this issue for you. Could you please let me know if you followed the solution suggested by Viveksaravanan Neelagantan ?
Thank you.

Methen, I apologize for the inconvenience caused. I request you to  submit the file in this link :  http://www.avg.com/submit-sample. If a false positive is confirmed, AVG database will be updated accordingly. Thank you.

Hello Sreedevi,

I have the same problem and your proposal doesn't solve it. After adding that file to the exception list avg keeps deleting that file. As Methen wrote, it is like avg is telling me sorry you do not get no choice in this situation. I hope we'll get a soon solution
