Cant print to network printer

Latest version was successfully installed and your instructions followed exactly … One thing to note is that I have switched AVG to ask (interogate) mode for all apps attempting to connect to the internet, anything I don't recognise I have denied access …  is there some windows10 .exe I might  have denied that would have inadvertantly prevented access to the network printer??

Sorry for the trouble, you should check with the default settings of firewall. Open AVG Internet Security -> Menu at the top right -> Settings -> Components -> Firewall -> Customize -> System Rules -> make sure all the task has been enabled.

Again, Firewall -> Customize -> Network Profiles -> change all the profiles from public to Private and check if it helps.

Have to disable AVG firewall to print... 
Can you throw any light on how AVG can be tweaked to allow network printing please.

The setting in the older version might have blocked printer from working.

Could you please confirm if the issue is resolved after installing the latest version of AVG?

Thank you for your quick reply, however, we cannot find the menu items mentioned in your email.

We have AVG Internet Security V 16.151.8013 , so can you please reply again, indicating the steps for that version of the product.

I understand your concern.

Please open AVG Internet Security installed, click on "Menu->Settings->Components->Firewall->Customize->Policies->System Rules". Enable all the settings that are not configured.

Click on "Network Profile" under Firewall, change the profile to private if selected in public.

However, please note that the menu structure you described in your answer does NOT apply to our product, so we can not try what you suggested.
Our product, AVG Internet Security, is version 16.151.8013.
Can you please reply again, with instructions for that product.

The problem has not been resolved. Did you see the previous question regarding any required Windows 10 programs that may need to be unblocked ?
