Can't receive downloaded files from websites

Initially, please clarify whether you're unable to download files in a specific browser or irrespective of browsers.
Also, let us know what happens exactly while attempting to download files with AVG protection enabled. Do you receive any error message?
If so, share us the screenshot of it for better clarity.
Meanwhile, please disable individual AVG components as mentioned in this article to identify the exact shield that is causing the issue & let us know.

My problem is that I can't receive downloaded files from websites while AVG Internet Security is ON. If I turn OFF AVG, then there is no such problem.
Any solution?
