I installed Free AVG to remove a virus I have (one that keep opening ad on Chrome every hour), but obviously, avg didn't help and it keep happening.
Anyway, I planned on leaving AVG on my PC, but then he deleted a file I need and moved it to quarantine (without asking me what to do about it), I tried to restore that file but clicking on the restore button done nothing.
What can I do?
Updated, the file not restored yet, anything I can do?
(Scanning now, hopefully, it will find anything)
Avia, thank you for providing the screenshot. This issue will be fixed by updating AVG to the latest version. Please open AVG▸ Menu ▸ Settings ▸ Update ▸ Update both the virus definition and the program.
After the update, please scan your computer and check if that fix the issue.
