I apologize for the inconvenience caused. May I know if it is a free version or a trial version of AVG Internet Security that you are using. Please follow the steps below and check if that resolves your issue.
Open the AVG management console and click Internet Security.
Go to Settings ▸ Ransomware Protection.
Select the Blocked/Allowed apps tab.
Remove if MS Word is added in blocked apps list.
Hi, I'm having trouble saving word documents, when AVG is on all word docs say 'read only' at the top and I cannot make changes and save. I have to turn off AVG in order to do so. Does anyone know how to change settings so it allows MS Word ? Thanks.
