Can't use Google Chrome anymore

Danny,

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. We appreciate all your efforts in trying to fix the issue.

Please note that these kind of tool bars and search engines get into the computer along with some other software or if we visit any untrustworthy websites accidentally. We would request you to uninstall unknown add ons from your web browsers.

You can remove this easily, first go to control panel and click on Programs and Features and in the list of programs search for any tool bar or search bar or any weird programs installed in your computer. If you see some suspicious program please uninstall it.

If you don't see any of such programs then please open your browser and you need to delete the unwanted plugin, extension, toolbar or search bar that is installed in your browser. After removing such things you wont be getting any popups when you browse the internet.

since this morning I can't get on Google Chrome anymore. I get continually messages from Reimage Repair and other (game) sites but am unable to use Chrome. I tried to download AVG (again) but this failed with errorcode 0xc007064c. What can I do now?

Please right click on the desktop shortcuts of your web browsers, click on Properties, check the Target field. It should be “C:Program FilesInternet Exploreriexplore.exe” for IE and “C:Program Files (x86)GoogleChromeApplicationchrome.exe” for Chrome. Please check and remove if any other text is added to this path.
