Hello Wayne,
Regret to hear you are experiencing issues to load certain webpages. Please open control panel, go to Add or remove programs list to check if you see 2 entries of "AVG Protection". If you do see them, the older version of AVG might have failed to uninstall completely during the upgrade. I suggest you to download and run AVG remover tool as suggested in this article http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-uninstall-AVG to uninstall older version and check if that resolve your issue.
Does anyone know how to stop the Certificate Error on https secure sites (including AVG)? I've disabled "HTTPS SCANNING", and I can access some of the sites by ignoring the warning and proceding. This problem only started on 6-11-2017 after AVG "upgraded" my installation. Thanks for any help!
